Stacy Dyson is a dynamic performance poet, playwright and a capella vocalist. She has published six chapbooks and recorded four CDs.
Based in San Diego and active nationally, Stacy writes, “I am a poet … there is no other way for me.”

Miko Peled, author of The General’s Son:
Journey of an Israeli in Palestine
Preceded by open mic for original poetry and prose

Miko Peled is the son of an Israeli Army general and he is a committed peace activist. Miko’s goal is to tear down the wall between Israelis and Palestinians and transform “the Israeli apartheid system into a secular democracy, where Israelis and Palestinians will live as equal citizens.”
In his memoir, The General’s Son, Miko describes his journey from “staunch Zionist” to understanding that there is an equitable solution to the “Israel-Palestine conflict.”
Miko’s presentation is a powerful argument for an uncommon peace. The General’s Son, with a forward by Alice Walker, will be available for sale and signing.

Debut author A.G.S. Johnson has set her novel, The Sausage Maker’s Daughter, in the counterculture of the Vietnam War era. She will be reading from the novel and sharing stories of the writing life, followed by a Q&A.
