As campaign manager for my dear friend Catherine, I want to say how she truly is dedicated to raising money for the Fallbrook Chamber and doing what she can as a business owner to help promote our local economy. The downtown area, the "heart" of Fallbrook, has suffered tremendously with the downturn in the economy. We need someone as confident and vivicous and willing to work as Catherine. Her heart is in the right place. I cannot believe how people may focus on a picture and not see the true meaning. Are people (mostly women) so petty and jealous to make comments based on looks without even knowing her? More power to Catherine and other women who are not afraid to be themselves. I like to classify myself as pretty conservative, and I think this is a great picture!! It shows that she is about having fun and getting the work done. We are having a blast coming up with campaign ideas to raise money for this race. Did you know for a $5 donation, you could win a $500 gift certificate at her store, Diva's? Or for a $20 donation you could win a sunset cruise (Pacific Ventures)for you and 5 friends, including drink and appetizers? Or that we hosted a happy hour at La Caseta which brought him more alcohol sales than he had all week? Everything we have done in this campaign has helped promote a business in this town.
